What epoxy paint for extra waterproofing in bathroom?

I have a small leak in my shower, my parents have had similar and bought an epoxy product from Bunnings that you can paint over tiles to protect from water. It has been successful in stopping their small leak. They can’t remember the name of the product. Wondering what it might have been?

The product your parents may be thinking of is CPC Shower Plug Sealant 220ml. It’s a clear, penetrating sealant designed to soak into grout lines and very fine cracks in tiles to help prevent minor water ingress, and it’s commonly used as a maintenance solution for showers with small grout or hairline cracking issues.

That said, just a word of caution: if it’s truly a small leak within the shower area, the waterproofing membrane behind the tiles should normally capture that water and direct it to the waste. Water shouldn’t be escaping the shower recess itself if the membrane is intact. If you’re noticing water outside the shower area, such as adjacent walls, skirting, or flooring, it can sometimes indicate failed grout or silicone, movement joints that need resealing, or potentially a compromised waterproofing membrane. A surface sealant can sometimes buy time, but it doesn’t replace proper waterproofing if there’s a deeper issue.
