How to choose the right lawn?

Hi, I am getting some work done in my backyard that includes levelling the backyard and redoing the grass.

I need help in selecting grass type. What would be the best grass type for this area. Im looking for something thats low maintenance and weed resistance.

Buffalo is typically the most popular choice for backyards. It has a robust growth pattern, handles foot traffic well, and is generally low maintenance. It’s also fairly weed-resistant. The only area it tends to struggle is in heavy shade, so if you have large shaded sections, that’s something to keep in mind.
