How to replace OZITO PXLTS-180 Auto Feed Head?

I bought a new OZITO line trimmer model PXLTS-180 18 volt which has a auto feed head fitted. Unfortunately the auto feed head has never worked correctly from day one even with various size line. Is there a replacement head that will fit this specific model that does work correctly as I am sick of stopping every few minutes to lengthen the line by hand.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your line trimmer; that would definitely be frustrating, especially on a new unit.

With most 18V line trimmers, including the OZITO PXLTS-180, the auto-feed head is typically a press-fit design mounted directly onto the motor drive shaft. Because of this setup, they’re generally not designed to be swapped out for alternative aftermarket heads, and there usually aren’t compatible third-party replacements available.

If the auto-feed head has never worked correctly from day one and the unit is still within the warranty period, I’d strongly recommend returning it to the store of purchase with your receipt so it can be assessed under warranty. If there’s a fault with the head, it can be replaced accordingly.

Even if it’s outside of warranty, our Power Gardening team in-store may still be able to inspect it, check the spool loading, spring mechanism, and line compatibility, and potentially get it feeding correctly for you.
