How to clean rangehood?

Hi, we've recently purchased our first home and our stove rangehood looks like it's never been cleaned. Heavy caked on grease per attached photos. Is this recoverable? Any recommended steps? Are there filters behind these parts I need to investigate and replace? Cheers

Nothing about what I'm seeing screams unsalvageable to me.

You'll want to start by switching off and unplugging the range hood to ensure there is no power running to it. If there is no plug, then you would need to speak with an electrician for their assistance with isolating it prior to cleaning.

You can then apply a degreasing product such as Krud Kutter Cleaner And Degreaser, give it some agitation with something like a Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scourer Pad or a scrubbing brush and use a roll of paper towel for clean-up and removal.

If there are parts that seem unsalvageable, you could always search for the model number to see if any parts are available from the manufacturer.
