Need ideas for backyard makeover with pergola

I've just moved into a homeswest house and have been trying to make it a home for myself and kids.

The backyard has so much potential but I have no clue where to start.

Wanting something budget friendly, and not to hard really need ideas for a pergola or something and how can I fix up the slabs?
