How to fix small pressurised copper pipe leak?

Hello,

i was wondering if someone could help me with a small leak on my outdoor copper pipe. I intend to get it sorted with a licensed plumber but are their any temporary solutions that I could use after turning my water off to last until a more permanent solution occurs? Much appreciated.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your copper pipe leak.

I propose using Rust-Oleum 25.4mm x 3.04m Black LeakSeal Self-Fusing Silicone Tape to seal the leak temporarily. When used correctly the tape will provide an effective seal against leaking pipes. My best advice is to pull and stretch the tape thoroughly to activate it and overlap very well to seal the leak properly. Make sure to use scissors when you finish wrapping the tape.
