How to prevent the moisture on the cemented floor in the shed and can I cover the edging of the shed? How to insulate my shed?
thank you
Hello @japbrizuela
Thank you for sharing your question about your shed floor. You'll notice in your last question about insulating your shed. There was a suggestion about covering your floor with an impermeable barrier such as builder's plastic. This is on the condition that no moisture barrier was installed onto your cement slab. It's also very important to maintain airflow inside the shed to prevent moisture from being trapped inside.
The installation of a small whirly bird such as the Bradford CSR 250mm TurboBeam Natural Roof Vent - Clear in combination with screened vents on opposing walls would help regulate air movement inside the shed. Covering the edge of the shed depends on what you plan to do exactly. Can the builder's plastic reach the end of the shed? Yes, it most definitely can.
