How to fix kitchen power point - hard to insert two-prong plug?

Dear All

Recently I have noticed the power point of my kitchen near gas stove cook top that I am struggling to plug 2 prongs plug unlike 3 prongs plug ,,,,,Is it a time to be replaced by an Electrician ?

Hi @Zillah,

Just to confirm, if you are struggling to push a plug in, whether it's two or three prong, it indicates that there is likely a degraded part within the power point and it needs to be replaced. As Eric mentioned, an electrician is required for its replacement.
