How to remove flush system to change valve seal?

Hi there,

We have a constantly leaking toilet and we need to replace the flush valve seal. The problem is we can't work out how to remove the flush button system in order to get access to the seal. We have tried pulling it but it won't budge and we don't want to break it. The toilet is a 2005 Fowler.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @JacobZ, thank you so much for your help! That did it, we got it out, replaced the seal, and we have a fixed toilet :)

Hi @CarlaG,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

There are two clips at the back and two at the front that will need to be unclipped to lift out the central mechanism.

Once they are unclipped from the housing around the outside, the central piece should simply lift out.
