How to repair fine cracks in porcelain sink?

hi folks

this has escalated since I moved into the apartment and I’ve not got the funds to replace the whole sink and cabinet rn so just want to make it look a little less trashed.

I’ve seen links on a similar question a while back and wondering if anything new has come on market. Was thinking something like a porcelain paint pen would be an ideal method of application?

While I’m here does anyone have any recs for suppliers of bathroom vanity cabinets? They seem super pricey for essentially being a basic cupboard.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of a paint pen that is designed for this purpose.

The only product I am aware of that is suitable for this repair is the Rust-Oleum 13.3ml White Tub And Tile Touch Up Kit, or the larger version, which is the Rust-Oleum 946ml White Gloss Tub And Tile Refinishing Kit. It is a two-part epoxy paint that is mixed together and applied with a brush.

After following the preparation steps in the technical data sheet, you can apply the paint using a craft brush to keep things nice and accurate.

If you're looking to replace your vanity cabinet, then there are certainly more bespoke options that are up there in price, but there are options like the Estilo 900mm Vinyl Wrap Freestanding Vanity which are very reasonable in terms of price.

Or perhaps you'd like to design something a bit more custom, in which case you might like to have a play around with the Kaboodle 3D design planner where you can select a base cabinet, with a benchtop in your style which can be cut out to add a drop in basin, or have a counter top basin..

Ultimately, the more complex in terms of size, finish and accessories, the higher the price, but you can still find a good deal that should work.
