struggling with colour matching scotia for floating floor colour Aquila sands in your range
Hello @mel2109
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about scotia for your floating floor.
There are several techniques you can try to add trim to your floating floor. First is to add a totally neutral colour such as white. A white scotia or skirting will add definition to your floating floor giving it a crisp finish. It also serves as a break between your floor and wall colour. Next is to add a darker coloured scotia, if you have a dark coloured wall the dark coloured scotia acts like a highlight which totally focuses your attention to the difference in colour.
Third is to add a complimenting colour or a colour that is close to the floors tone and acts like a bridge so that the transition to your wall colour is not so abrupt. I've listed below some colours I suggest having a look at the store. If you have a spare floor panel, I suggest bringing one with you so that you can compare it to your flooring.
Please keep in mind that the light entering the room and time of day also plays a factor in the look and feel of your flooring. My best advice is to look carefully and to choose the colour that makes you happy.
