How to unscrew screen door roller casing?

Question

I'm trying to change a screen door roller casing and I'm not sure how to unscrew the pictured screw - it's neither a flat bed screw or Philips, Alan key won't work either and a star tool I was lent was not small enough? Anyone got a clue what I should do? TIA

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your roller wheel.

It appears to be a blind rivet that has been painted over. I suggest getting a drill bit that is ever so slightly bigger than the hole you are currently seeing on top of the rivet. In combination with a drill, the drill bit will shear away the section that is holding blind rivet in place which will release the roller assembly from the aluminium frame.

I recommend using a Craftright Rivet Gun Set or similar to attach the new roller assembly back onto the aluminium frame.
