How to screen a water tank with a hardwood panel?

HI All, we are looking at putting a screen at the top of a retaining wall and walkway to hide the view of the tank along a verandah. Any hints on how to securely attach a Herringbone Hardwood Screen Panel 1800 x 900mm? Would posts in the dark gravel around the tank base, be the best and easiest solution? (See second photo). The piping shown sticking up and cut off, was for a gas connection for a pool heater.  Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi @DianeTDoyle,

For your screen, you could fix posts into the lower section of the retaining wall with Dynabolts and extend them up to the required height. This will give you a stable frame for your Herringbone Hardwood panels.

Alternatively, if you want the screen to be independent of the wall, you could concrete the posts directly into the ground on the lower level. Either method should provide a secure and level structure. From there, you would run 90 x 45mm treated pine horizontally between those posts to give you a top and bottom rail to which the panels will be attached.
