How to choose transition cover for laminate to tiles?

Hi

I would like to install a transition cover between the laminate floor and the tiles from the balcony in one of our bedroom.

I bought this transition you can see on the picture thinking it'd be a good fit, it came with the matching nails that are very long, and are impossible to fit in as I reach the concrete underneath too quickly (+ one little hammer strike and they're twisted, so I'm guessing they're not meant for this kind of material).

I tried to find an alternative like smaller screws but the colour isn't matching and the screw's head sticks out too much above the holes.

Also been thinking about simply gluing the thing but that will leave the little holes visible which will also look bad.

So I'm giving up with this item and want to get the right transition cover and I thought I would seek recommendations from people who know what they are doing hehehe. thank you so much

Thank you for sharing the picture of your flooring. It appears that they are close to being level and one side is not higher than the other. In these situations, I suggest looking at using either the Roberts 30mm x 1.65m Silver Floating Floor Transition Trim or the Roberts 30mm x 1.65m Bronze Floating Floor Transition Trim. These strips can be anchored into the floor using the Roberts Ramp And Cover Trim Plugs - 10 Pack or by using adhesive such as the Selleys 250g Liquid Nails Clear Construction Adhesive.

I recommend visiting your local store and having a look at the finish of the strips to make sure they meet your needs. Please note that there are similar products in the store but have a slight angle on them, be careful when making your choice.
