How to fill hole in brick wall after removing air conditioner?

Hi All

I have got this old window wall air condition not working and we installed ducted system,,,if I remove it,,,to fill the hole outside will be filled with bricks same pattern what about inside do I need only piece of gyprock ?

The only way to find out what materials you'll be needing is to remove the the aircon unit out of your wall. Once the aircon has been removed you will see if you have a proper brick wall or a faux brick wall on a masonry wall. You'll also be able to tell if the plasterboard is attached to another brick wall or a timber framed one. If it's a brick wall outside, you'll need bricks and mortar to build up the wall and cover it. If the inside is wall is made of a timber frame you'll need a few pieces of timber to create a small frame and some plasterboard to cover the hole.

You can temporarily cover the hole with a timber sheet while you get materials for your repair. My best advice is to start from the outside and brick up that wall. Once the outside wall is finished you can then work on the inside section.
