We have vanity sink in that i can see small patches of faded colour how to fix that please suggest
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @dvedekar. It's wonderful to have you join us and many thanks for your question on sink repair.
It would really help members give you accurate advice if we could see the issue you’re dealing with. If you’re able to upload a few photos, that would be great. Let me know if you need a hand doing that.
Also, could you clarify exactly where the fading is? Is it on the cabinet (like a melamine surface) or on the sink bowl itself (for example, a vitreous enamel or ceramic basin)? It would also be useful to know when you first noticed the marks and whether anything might have caused them.
From your description, if the patches are inside the bowl, it can sometimes be caused by certain personal care or cleaning products sitting on the surface and lightly bleaching or staining it. Once we can see a photo, we’ll be able to give you a much clearer idea of what’s going on and how to fix it.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

please check the image and let me know how can i fix this?
Hi @dvedekar,
Unfortunately, it looks like something like bleach has sat on the sink removing the colour. When this is the case, it is not really possible to restore the colour as the bleach more or less destroys the pigment, so you're going to have to look at painting the sink to cover up the staining.
I'd suggest having a look at the https://www.bunnings.com.au/rust-oleum-946ml-white-gloss-tub-and-tile-refinishing-kit_p0437239 which can be used to restore ceramic, porcelain, fiberglass, acrylic, cast iron, and steel surfaces to a gloss white finish.
You'll need to ensure you follow the Technical Datasheet closely to ensure a quality application is achieved, in particular the preparation steps. This will involve thorough cleaning, followed by a light sand to prepare the surface before application.
Check out https://www.bunnings.com.au/diy-advice/home-improvement/baths-showers-toilets/how-to-paint-a-bath for some guidance. The application is different, but the process is much the same.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

if we replace the vanity how much it will cost can i get the estimation so i can think of changing or just painting it. I dont know what has spilled over it that made the stains i tried with bleach at other areas but it didnt worked there so if you can tell what type of bleach can cause this so i can check that as well
Hello @dvedekar
Your vanity top can actually be replaced with something like the https://www.bunnings.com.au/mondella-900mm-rococo-ceramic-vanity-basin-with-1-tap-hole_p4844312 . This is on the condition that it is the same size and that it will not hit any timber dividers inside the cabinet. It's also important to know if the old vanity top can be removed without damaging the vanity cabinet. In regards to replacing the entire vanity, I suggest looking at the https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-900mm-white-polymarble-vanity-top-1th_p4843094 . As the cost for removal and installation, I suggest getting a quote from a plumber as removal and re-connection of your plumbing fittings can only be carried out by plumber for safety and compliance.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
