How to cover a tap hole in tiles?

We are planning a bathroom renovation, and we are moving our shower, which will leave a space large enough for a washer-dryer. We don't need to have our washer/dryer in the space after the reno, but would like to keep water access for resale/future buyers.

Instead of having a tap on show, we plan to have the plumber cap it off behind the tile, leaving a hole for the future pipe to come through.

Any recommendations on how/what to cover the hole in the meantime?

We will have a light-coloured marble tile.

They are simply stuck over the hole using the adhesive attached to the back.

If you wanted to, you could apply some https://www.bunnings.com.au/spray-paint-dulux-300g-plastic-primer_p0782798 , then paint it with a https://www.bunnings.com.au/british-paints-250ml-white-sample-pot-250ml_p1420569 mixed to the colour of your choosing.

You can use a combination of colours applied with craft brushes like this https://www.bunnings.com.au/boyle-6-piece-all-purpose-brush-set_p0098098 , to emulate the pattern of the tile.
