How to raise height of garden tap?

Thanks for sharing your question about your garden tap. Because it is an outdoor garden tap any modification to it will need to be carried out by a registered plumber for safety and compliance. It's highly probable that the plumber will simply extend the current copper pipe by adding more pipework and soldering it onto the existing pipe. Because it is in an outdoor setting exposed to the elements, the fitting needs to be highly weather resistant and robust enough to withstand everyday use. It's possible that the plumber will re-use your existing garden tap.
