Used Feast Watson slate sealer. Is it compatible with any other brand?

I presume your question arises because the Feast Watson slate sealer has been discontinued. Since it was a solvent-based product, it’s best to stick with another solvent-based sealer for compatibility. A good alternative is the https://www.bunnings.com.au/crommelin-4l-gloss-diamondtough-natural-stone-clear-sealer_p1560255 , which is also solvent-based and compatible. Be sure to carefully follow the preparation instructions on the can to get the best result

How do I apply....is there an application available? Found previously the roller foamed up.

The data sheet recommends either a brush, medium nap roller or a lamb's wool applicator. My best advice is not to shake the sealer but to stir the contents with a paint stirrer to prevent the formation of bubbles.

If you had issues with a roller in the past, @Banana47, I'd switch to a lambswool applicator as they are less likely to induce bubbles and foam.
