Hi, my bean plants are flowering well, but they’re not developing into beans. What could be the reason for this, and what can I do to improve fruiting?
It looks like the plants are healthy if they’re flowering @adkandel, so that’s a good start.
Since it’s autumn, one common issue is reduced pollination. Cooler weather and fewer insects around can mean flowers don’t get properly pollinated, so they just drop off instead of forming beans. You can try gently tapping/shaking the plants or even hand-pollinating with a small brush to help things along. Rub the brush in the centre of a flower, ensuring you contact the pollen (the dusty part), then move to another flower and gently brush the centre there to transfer it. Repeat across a few flowers to improve your chances of pods forming
A couple of other things to check:
If you can let me know a bit more about the number of pollinators, the soil conditions and how you've been watering and fertilising, we can troubleshoot further.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
