How to get new faucet flush?

Hello!

I recently installed a Mondella basin set and cannot figure out how to get the faucet to sit flush. I can’t push it down anymore and can’t lower the actual copper T connection either.

Would love some insight to where I went wrong.

Please note that plumbing work needs to be completed by a licensed professional for safety and compliance.

Looking at the connections that can be seen in the product page for the

, I'd say the copper T piece needs to be bent to allow the additional height, which would require the assistance of a plumber.
