The bathtub tap is dripping continuously. How do I fix it?
Hello @yash001
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your dripping bath tap.
Please note that plumbing work needs to be completed by a licensed professional for safety and compliance.
Before you begin, please remember to turn off your mains water to avoid accidental flooding. Make sure to inform the rest of the household that there will be no water while repairs are being made. The general steps are to remove the handles on the spindles followed by removing the cover flange. Once the handle and cover flange have been removed you then need to use an adjustable wrench to unscrew the spindle.
If you have a traditional spindle, you'll need to replace the jumper valve washer and if you have a ceramic disc spindle make sure to get the exact size and shape spindle. Just follow the steps in reverse to re-assemble the bath tap.
