What base for small Absco shed?

Hi everyone, hoping to get some advice on the best flooring or base to use under a small shed.

I’m planning on buying the Absco Shed 1.52 x 0.78 x 1.95m and set it up in my backyard on flagstone pavers, similar to the type of paving in the photo I’ve attached. I don’t want to pour a concrete slab, as it will be on the sandstone pavers, but I would like to put some kind of flooring underneath to raise the shed up and help protect it from rain or moisture coming in from below. The pavers are not completely flat/level either…

What would you recommend as the best option for this kind of setup?

Thanks for the info @EricL and @MitchellMc. I’m not too worried about it being anchored into the ground in case of storms as it will be in an extremely sheltered corner up against the house. It will back up against a fence which I can secure it to if need be. I’ll have a look at those links and let you know how I go!

I thought I'd add that there is also the

. That could be levelled. It must be fixed down to a solid base and it's not recommended for high wind areas.

Just a friendly reminder that the Absco sheds general instructions specify that "The shed shall be erected on top of a reinforced concrete slab and anchored down appropriately".

I suggest having a quick look at these discussions - How to build a movable garden shed base? by @nieldy and Garden shed on timber base. These discussions refer to building heavy timber bases for sheds. I believe the key factor here is that the shed base should be heavy enough that it prevents the shed from being blown away in a heavy storm. Plus, the shed has something solid to anchor onto.

I propose looking at using

for footing and

for the frame of the base.
