How to add a fence extension?

Hi,

I am wanting to height extend my colorbond freindly neighbour fence.

I am wondering

- what styles are available,

-all pieces I need,

-and is there a style that matches the pattern of the fence making it more seemless?

Hi @Samc1234,

I would suggest you start by reading through this helpful guide: How to add an extension to a Colorbond fence. Within it, you'll find a list of all the required materials

* 300mm sheets
* 300mm uprights
* Rails
* 20mm self-tapping metal screws
* 16mm hex head self-tapping metal screws (to match your Colorbond colour)

Our Special Orders team at your local Bunnings store will be able to take you through the range of profiles available, help you work out the quantities of products needed and place your order. Ensure you bring pictures of your existing fence profile so our team can match it up to available extension profiles. However, if it's just the standard fence profile, you can cut down full sheets to get your 300mm extension panels.
