Hello,
I will be tiling 300x75x9mm subway tiles for splashback. What size notch trowel should I use or how do I work out what size to use?
Thanks!
Hi @mito30,
Generally speaking, the smaller the tile, the smaller the notches, so for tiles that are 300x75mm, you'd use a relatively small notch.
I'd suggest using a 6mm notched trowel such as this https://www.bunnings.com.au/qep-6mm-square-notch-handyman-adhesive-trowel_p6650391?srsltid=AfmBOopDJ7z5FSOUimHveR71Z_olwT9bGSpD76h_aC0MLUn4mO6eNcR5 .

Let me know if you have any further questions.
