What notch trowel to use for wall tiles?

Hello,

I will be tiling 300x75x9mm subway tiles for splashback. What size notch trowel should I use or how do I work out what size to use?

Hi @mito30,

Generally speaking, the smaller the tile, the smaller the notches, so for tiles that are 300x75mm, you'd use a relatively small notch.

I'd suggest using a 6mm notched trowel such as this
