How to order galvanised steel fence posts?

Hi I am building a new paling fence around 22m long 1.8m high. I have built similar fences before using C shaped galvanised steel posts, but you don't seem to sell them any more? Is that correct, and what are alternatives? I'm not keen on wooden posts but….

…but they seem to be for rails rather than post. Not sure of the thickness of the steel as compared to what I've used as posts before. I'm pretty sure on the last job they were stocked as posts rather than rails but that was 10 years ago.

Might be okay but cost a lot more. I'd rather get wooden posts than pay $140 each I reckon.

Mmmmm trying to think of something else to use instead of timber posts and I cant realy come up with something other then the C post you are refering to and @EricL has found via special orders. The 1.8m high will rule out a gabion cage sadly :) It would be a monster but wooooo it would be strong like a castle :)

With the intention of tieing timber to the side of the cages andthen installing rails for a timber paling fence between each cage. Getting them all in line and looking accurate I think would be a hard job, doable but fiddly until you worked out a system. You could also do the steel posts and build a cage around them so the cage is more secure from toppling over.

As a general rule for a cage to be incapable of toppling the base should be 2/3rds in width to the height. (My free standing ones are an exception to the rule but they are not holding any soil back and dont move when pushed from the top) I do have two gabion walls that are around 800mm high and 300mm wide ish and they havnt moved (They were the first ones I built)

This wall was installed back in Dec 2014, it only retains some soil up to half its height and then leaves and debris I have thrown from when i scoop out debris from the pool behind it. It has NOT moved at all.
