Hello!
I am trying to fix this chipping around the edges so that they look properly finished and also don't appear out of color. Please share ideas on how these could be fixed.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about repairing your render.
I suggest cleaning the surface as best as possible by removing any loose render and debris. I recommend using https://www.bunnings.com.au/polyfilla-500g-exterior-brick-and-render-masonry_p1210565 to fill in the gaps. Before the surface hardens, I suggest using a toothbrush to stipple the surface so that the patch blends in with surface finish.
