I Have purchased the Mimosa Burleigh Gazebo and will be installing it on a concrete slab in my yard. The concrete slab is already established.
Can you advise of the best anchoring system or items to use in order to secure the gazebo ?
Thank you :)
Welcome to the Bunnings WOrkshop community @Simone112. It's terrific to have you join us and many thanks for your question on fixing gazebos.
Because it’s designed as a semi-permanent structure, these gazebos typically come with soil pegs for temporary installation on grass. For fixing to an existing concrete slab, a common and suitable option would be https://www.bunnings.com.au/ramset-10-x-100mm-dynabolt-plus-hex-nut-bolts-2-pack_p2264202 , which expand into the concrete and provide a solid hold.
That said, there’s an important point to consider: once you anchor the gazebo to concrete, it may be classified as a permanent structure rather than a temporary one. Because of that, I’d strongly recommend checking with your local council before installing.
They may:
If approval is needed, they’ll often outline exactly how it needs to be secured, which can save you redoing the work later.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
