i want to build a structure over my raised vegetable gardens and covered with mouse proof mesh. ideas please
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Diana24. It's wonderful to have you join us and many thanks for your question on mouse-proofing a garden bed.
It would really help our members give you the best advice if we could see your raised garden beds. Different styles, sizes, and materials can suit very different types of covers or frames. If you’re able to upload a photo or two of your setup, you’ll likely get much more tailored and practical suggestions. If you need a hand uploading images, just let me know.
In the meantime, most solutions involve building a simple frame (timber or PVC) over the bed and attaching a fine wire mesh, but the exact design will depend on your layout.
I've created a rendering for you of a solid framed and meshed structure. Obviously, this is at the more involved end of the scale. At the other, you simply have stakes driven into all four corners and a crop protection netting draped over them, or a steel mesh wrapped around them.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
