Hello,
I have noticed slight gaps in our window frames, I'm sure this is how we are getting bugs inside. How am I best to seal these off?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @melrane. It's amazing to have you join us and many thanks for your questions about sealing gaps.
For small gaps in aluminium window frames, a polyurethane sealant is typically the best option, as it is flexible, durable, and designed for this kind of application. Products similar to Sikaflex 11FC are commonly used in window installations and perform well for sealing against drafts and insects.
To apply, clean the area first to ensure good adhesion, then carefully squeeze a small amount of sealant into the gap and smooth it off with a wet finger or finishing tool for a neat finish. Once cured, it will create a long-lasting seal that helps prevent bugs and air from getting through.
Remember to take caution when working around glass, as it can shatter easily. Always wear cut-resistant gloves, safety glass, a long-sleeved shirt, trousers and enclosed footwear.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello @melrane
Just to add to the suggestions made, I recommend using masking tape to mask those sections you don't want the sealant to go onto.
