Compatibility of integrated fridge with Kaboodle cabinetry?

Hello! We’re installation a new kitchen using Kaboodle cabinetry and are hoping to install an integrated/built-in fridge and dishwasher.

I was wondering whether anyone knows and/or has any experience in installing an integrated fridge into Kaboodle cabinetry? Is this possible / are they compatible (as judging by the measurements alone, it should all fit).

As Kaboodle doesn’t offer a dedicated cabinet for integrated fridges or dishwashers, it really comes down to sizing and the appliance hardware, not the cabinetry system itself.

Integrated appliances are designed to sit in a standard cavity, not inside a cabinet carcass. In most cases, you’re simply leaving the correct opening between panels, and the appliance is then fixed to the surrounding cabinetry or benchtop. A door panel is then added to its front.

The important part is that the appliance must come with its own door mounting system. For example, integrated fridges use sliding rails or hinge kits to attach your cabinet door to the appliance, rather than screwing directly into it, and these brackets are usually supplied with the unit or as a model-specific kit. Similarly, integrated dishwashers rely on fixing brackets and door mounting kits to secure the unit and attach the cabinet front.

So, in practical terms, if your fridge and dishwasher are true integrated models and include the correct fixing kits, then yes, you can make them work with Kaboodle by building the layout around their exact cavity requirements (height, width, depth, and ventilation).

The cabinetry just provides the space, and the appliance and its hardware does the actual integration.
