How do I undo this tap handle?

Question

Does anyone know how I remove this handle? There are two grooves under the handle on each side, can't spot a grub screw. The tap spins left and right freely until it hits the grab points to turn on and off - tap still works but handle seems to not be attached properly.

On these pin-lever style taps, the grub screw is often not immediately visible from the outside. It’s quite common for it to be located inside the body of the handle, hidden behind the threaded section where the lever screws in.

What you can try is unscrewing the pin lever itself first. Once you remove the lever, have a look inside the threaded hole it leaves in the handle assembly. In many designs, the grub screw sits down inside there and can be loosened with a small Allen key.

If it’s not there, it might be some type of proprietary fixing method, but that hidden-in-the-thread location is usually the first place to check.
