How to recolour grout in tiled floor?

hey guys please can anyone advise on the best option to recolour this grout. Should I re-grout (give it a good clean then use Dunlop white pre mix) or shall I give it a good clean and use the dulux grout paint pen? I’m leaning toward re-grouting as I think it will be a better finish. I would love some expert advice, thank you.

@rachwhit - a good tile clean. I remember what bottle I got was yellow in color. Couple of old toothbrushes, rags, patience and elbow grease will give you an excellent outcome

Hi @rachwhit , I would re clean with a grout cleaner, then if still not satisfactory, re grout would be a better option , you would need a grout tool/file to remove some of the grout before proceeding with new grout, just to give a bit more depth for the new grout to bond to

Thank you for the speedy reply! We have had the grout professionally cleaned already so this is the best it gets! It’s through the entire house. I think we will brave it and re-grout. I just think we won’t get a proper white with the pen on the grey grout 🤔
