How to prime and paint damp bathroom wall?

Dear Bunnings

I have attached a pic of a damp area with some peeling paint in an area of the bathroom wall next to the shower cubicle. This happened due to a leaking shower which has now been fixed. Can you please advise of a suitable waterproof primer or paint to make this area look decent? Should I sandpaper before painting? Many thanks in advance.

Thank you for sharing a picture of the damaged wall. I propose scraping the damaged paint with a

. When you have removed the damaged paint, I suggest sanding the surface with

in combination with a

to give you a flat even finish. After sanding the surface, I suggest wiping it down with

to remove all the debris and sanding dust on the wall.

I suggest using

https://www.bunnings.com.au/crommelin-1l-flat-aquablock-waterproof-primer-undercoat_p1560469

to prime the surface and

https://www.bunnings.com.au/dulux-500ml-vivid-white-low-sheen-wash-wear-interior-paint_p0638834

as topcoat tinted to your preferred colour.
