How to return individual tools of a tool set under warranty?

Hi!

I was considering buying one of the Ryobi power tools sets, but I read somewhere that someone had bought one, had an issue with single tool, and had to return the entire set, rather than just whatever one broke.

The idea of that happening is a big put off. Does anyone have any experience with if this is still true?

Thanks Mitchell, I can figure that out.

Interestingly, the 'Warranty Claim FAQs' on the Ryobi website indicates that it is not necessary to return the whole kit, only the faulty part.

However, it also says that returns must go through Bunnings, and here you say it is necessary to return the whole kit.

So Ryobi's FAQ is bad info, I guess. Worth flagging.

A product that was part of a kit is faulty. Do I need to return the whole kit?

No, you don't need to return the entire kit if a single component is faulty. You can opt for a like-for-like replacement of the faulty item. To facilitate the return, provide the replacement item receipt and ensure the product meets all warranty conditions.

Where can I make a warranty claim?

All warranty claims must be made at your local Bunnings store. If your product is a Ride on Mower, contact customer service on 1300 MY RYOBI (1 300 697 962).
