How to fix corners of Organic Garden Co raised beds?

Hi. I’m a complete novice and own a ryobi drill and some screwdrivers. But…

I have three organic garden co 2x1m garden beds and want to replace the corner pieces that connect the sides together. I’ll be using them for vege beds.

What wood should I use? Any suggestions on how to connect it all? It doesn’t need to last for forever.

I keep scrolling through the timber options and feeling really overwhelmed with what to buy. I’ve been thinking basically two pieces cut at about 50cm and screwing them together so that they create an L shape when viewed directly from above. Then screwing the sheets into these so that they sit on the inner face and create a kind of wood capped corner when looking from the outside of the bed.

I just need to figure out what to do that will take the least equipment and time.

Did you end up rebuilding the corners in the end, or did you manage to source replacement parts for the beds?

Would be interested to hear what approach you landed on and how the beds are holding up.

What's the reason you need to replace the corner connectors? Have they broken or have you lost them? Are the sheets popping out of them? The reason for asking is that our Spare Parts team can check if the supplier does replacments. Or, if the sheets are popping out, a couple of screws through the corner bracket and into the sheets can often hold them firmly in position.

Alternatively, I think you're on the right track. You could certainly add a L shaped section of timber to the outside or inside. This

could be used. You'll need some longer screws such as the

Thank you for sharing your question about your organic garden. Your "L" shaped corner piece plan definitely sounds achievable. Because the timber will be in direct contact with the soil, I suggest using H4 treated timber. In case you are worried about chemical leaching the corrugated sheets will prevent it from making direct contact with your garden soil. To protect the sheets, I propose lining it with

By the sound of your description there is already an existing "L" corner in place. Would it be possible for you to post a picture so that our members can see how the corner is configured? With the new corner, can you draw a sketch how the side of the "L" corner is shaped and share it with us? How tall will the corner be? Once you provide us with that bit of extra information, we can then offer recommendations.
