There is surface mould forming on the MDF raw board next to the kitchen sink and no visible leaks. The MDF board is dry and looks normal after wiping the mould. I believe it is the sink undermount seal not done properly and moisture is seeping through. Can I just silicon the inside perimeters of the sink rather then resealing underneath the sink? Will that be sufficient to prevent moisture from getting to the MDF boards?
