How to tighten loose Lane passage lever set?

Hello Bunnings Workshop Community,

The door handles/ knobs in our property consists of Lane square passage lever sets. Some of them have become loose. The screws are hidden. There is a hole in the bottom left corner of the faceplate.

I will greatly appreciate if you can give me advice and guidance on how I can tighten it.

Hi @ridwanq,

If the handles themselves are quite secure, then this might just be a case of the coverplates needing to be tightened. I would position the cover plate in the correct orientation and then, through the little hole on the bottom of it that you've shown, insert an allen key and turn the key clockwise to tighten. Inside the hole, there is likely to be a grub screw, which locks the cover plates in the correct orientation. These might have backed off and loosened over time.

Thank you once again. Yes, there is a hole in the bottom left corner of the faceplate as shown in the photo. Just for clarification, I have to fit in a small screw driver in the hole and push it away from the door? I do not have to turn in clockwise or anti-clockwise? Sorry for asking too many questions.

Apologies for being a bit vague. No, the arrow was just to point out the faceplate.

Use the hole at the bottom left corner of the faceplate. I can't see it in the photos, but I imagine it is there so you can fit a small screwdriver in it to lever the faceplate off.
