Kicking off today, we are searching for Australia's best D.I.Y. projects of the year.
It’s easy to join in. You can win one of five $5000 gift cards and get your work featured in the Bunnings Magazine simply by sharing some photos and detail about a completed D.I.Y. project you have undertaken.

Best small project
From sustainable crafts to pint-sized upgrades, we love a smart D.I.Y. project that gives tired pieces and spaces a second chance. How us your small but mighty furniture flips, upcycling projects or fast room refreshes.
Best paint transformation
Treated your walls, fence or furniture to a whole new look with colour? Whether it’s a bold statement or subtle refresh, show us how paint has completely changed your space.
Best kitchen, laundry or bathroom renovation
Retiled a splashback, installed new kitchen cabinetry or revamped the master ensuite? We’d love to see how you’ve brought one of these hard-working rooms back to life.
Best outdoor project
Perfected your vegie patch, garden shed or outdoor entertaining area? Share before and after pics of your courtyard, backyard or balcony transformations so we can enjoy it, too!
Best storage or organisation project
Whether you’ve streamlined a cluttered cupboard, built custom shelving or kitted out your shed, show us how you’ve brought order and style to your space.
How to enter
Hit the Share a project button here on Bunnings Workshop and provide a brief introduction and your best photo of your completed D.I.Y. project. Make sure you also include all the tools and materials used in your project, the steps you undertook, and include before and after photos.
The competition starts today and runs until 11.59pm Sunday July 26.
The five winning projects will be featured in the September issue of the Bunnings Magazine, in stores nationally and online from Thursday August 27.
Competition judges include resident Bunnings Workshop D.I.Y. expert Mitch Mclean, Bunnings Magazine Editor Lisa Green and Bunnings Trend and Design Manager Jane Wright.
