Good Afternoon Workshop Community Friends, I thought I would share this common Insect problem we can get in our Gardens and what to look out for.
This is my Lemonade tree, the first sign that something is not right are the leaves curling, looks odd right, take a look underneath the leaves. There’s a colony of Cotton Cushion Scale rasping and sucking the life out of the leaves causing them to curl up.
A closer inspection reveals the Cotton Cushion Scale on some of the branches as well.
Treatment with Eco Neem Oil will help to treat it. Making sure to follow directions on the bottle and wearing the appropriate safety gear - gloves, mask.
I also added a couple of photos of some leaves with Citrus Leaf Minor, the squiggly lines in the leaves are being attacked by a minute grub that burrows through eating the chlorophyll. This can also be controlled with Eco Neem Oil. Two very common insects . Just by checking your plants regularly you can see the damage caused. Anyway, I thought this would may help our beginner gardeners 🌿🌿🌿🙂
