The project:
A mate had an old bath he was willing to give me - made it into our all year round soaker by connecting to laundry trough

- Tools:
Pliers, drill, spakfilla,
- Step 1:
Disconnected old laundry tap, put in new spout with diverter
- Step 2:
Connected shower hose to new spout, drilled hole in wall and ran hose through
- Step 3:
Connected up next two hoses to each other, mounted up across then down to bath area using small brackets
- Step 4:
Connected end of hoses to new tap, put it as far as it would go towards middle of bath then screwed new tap in.
- Step 5:
Spakfill gap around hose leading outside
- Step 6:
Dug ~6m trench for drainage with big rock filled hole at the end (along tree line - bonus hydration for ornamental pears!). Added rocks then laid ag drain, topped up with rocks then put soil on top.
- Step 7:
For bath, just run water in laundry tap til it's a good temp, then divert to hose. Once bath is full, turn off cold water and just run hot (since it's the only water you'll need from there on).
