Hi, how do I fix the scratches on my wooden hard floor caused by a computer chair without redoing the entire bedroom floor. The scratches feels like superficial as it feels rough.

What you're seeing is most likely wear rather than a simple scratch. The constant rolling of the chair wheels has gradually worn through the floor's protective coating, exposing the bare timber underneath. I actually have the exact same issue at my place.
Patch repairs can be quite difficult, as any coating used to rejuvenate the area needs to be very similar to the original product that was applied to the floor. Do you happen to know what finish was used?
There are products, such as Cabot's CFP, that can be used after the damaged area has been sanded smooth. However, unless the new coating closely matches the existing finish, the repair is likely to remain noticeable.

Clean Surface
Test Adhesion
Check Results
The only way to completely restore the floor is to have the room sanded back to bare timber and recoated. While a localised repair may improve the appearance, it's unlikely to become completely invisible.

If you weren't prepared to sand the existing coating back on the whole floor, then you can follow the above advice and go with Cabot's CFP, applying it to just that area, @dinnap. The floor could later be sanded back and recoated if you weren't satisfied with the results. Mitchell
