Which sealant's colour matches the colour of Woodhouse quarter round?

I'm wondering which sealant color matches Woodhouse White moulding (pine FJ, primed) quarter round. I don't want to paint the quarter round, but I do want to seal the upper edge after installing it. Thanks in advance.

Hi @reno-abc,

There isn't a colour-matched sealant specifically for the primer used on Woodhouse mouldings. The primer is a fairly standard white, so most white gap fillers or paintable sealants will be reasonably close in appearance. As you've probably noticed, there are many shades of white, but as far as I'm aware the primer used on these products doesn't contain any specific tinting. I would recommend you go with

as that would allow you to paint over the sealant in the future if you so wished.

One thing to keep in mind is that the moulding is supplied primed only. Primer is porous and isn't designed as a finished surface, so it can mark and collect dirt over time. If you'd like it to stay looking clean and white long-term, I'd recommend applying a top coat of paint after installation.
