How to seal or fill fine cracks in ceramic floor tiles?

The whole ground floor in my house is tiled with 25-year-old 300x300mm ceramic floor tiles. Several tiles (about 15) have fine cracks over the tile, some long, some short, from general wear and tear. Unfortunately, most are in the middle of main walkways. I have tried repairing some using the cheap tile repair kits you can find on the internet or Temu, but they are fiddly to mix right, and hard to apply and end up with a shiny looking line when applied.

Is there an easier or better product to use for this job? As long as its off-white it should blend with the tiles. Or is there a better way to prepare the tiles and apply the product? I can't replace the tiles because they are no longer available and I have run out of the few spare ones I had.

Would appreciate some advice from someone.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any tile crack repair products that provide a long-lasting, inconspicuous repair for ceramic floor tiles.

With around 15 cracked tiles throughout the floor, it sounds like there may be an underlying issue rather than simple wear and tear. Ceramic tiles typically require a considerable amount of force or movement to crack. Possible causes could include movement in the subfloor, inconsistent adhesive coverage beneath the tiles, or a fault with the tiles themselves.

The challenge with any crack-filling product is that if the underlying cause is still present, the repair is likely to crack again over time. One workaround I've seen used for isolated cracks is carefully filling them with a colour-matched nail polish or similar product to help disguise the crack. However, this is generally considered a cosmetic, temporary fix and is usually only practical for one or two affected tiles.

Given the number of cracked tiles you're experiencing, the more permanent solution would be to remove and replace the affected tiles. Since matching replacements aren't available, another option may be to consider overlaying the floor with a product such as hybrid vinyl flooring. However, this is typically only suitable if the existing tiled surface is otherwise sound and stable, so it would be worth investigating the cause of the cracking before proceeding.
