I have an old toilet that is leaking, I've tried replacing the rubber seals but that hasn't worked, so the next step is to replace or repair the current flush valve.

However, any changes that involve moving or reconfiguring pipework would be considered regulated plumbing work and would need to be carried out by a licensed plumber.
I propose engaging the services of a plumber so that they can assess if the Thunderflush will work with your cistern.

That part won't work with my toilet. There are no pipes that the screw end to work on.
The replacement flushing set I was referring to would be a full replacement of the flushing set not just the top section. That generally includes the bottom seat which would involve full disassembly of the cistern and would qualify as regulated plumbing work. You'll need a plumber to exchange that for you; they will also be able to tell if the Thunderflush will fit your toilet cistern.
As an alternative to looking for a compatible spare part, I suggest looking at replacing your cistern with a new one such as the https://www.bunnings.com.au/stylusl-allegro-plastic-cistern_p4823160 . Which when you compared to the price of a new toilet suite https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-close-coupled-rimless-s-trap-toilet-suite_p0066063 is not very far off.
