I installed iconic ruby door lock. However, the internal locking knob revolves without causing the lock to lock. From the key side the lock will lock but not internally from the knob.
Hello @jayeffu2
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door lock.
It's highly probable that the axel locking pin has not lined up with the locking nib. I propose removing the doorknob and putting them together on the table and testing the locking mechanism. If the nib works, then it's safe to conclude that it was just out of alignment. But if after re-assembly on the table and it still refuses to operate properly there may be a fault in the lock itself. If so, I recommend bringing the lock back to the store where you purchased it from along with your docket and ask for an exchange.
My best advice is to make sure that the axel locking pin is straight and not leaning to one side when you re-assemble the doorknob.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
