How to remove stainless steel stains on shower tiles?

We are prepping our shower for applying CPC Shower Plug but cannot remove some black marks from our white tiles. The marks are caused by the stainless steel hose for the hand shower, and only appear where the hose has touched the wall. We've replaced the hose multiple times, but all stainless steel hoses have caused marks. We also have hard water which leaves white scale, but although we can remove the scale, the black marks stay.

We've tried a bunch of products including Domestos, CLR, vinegar, and eucalyptus oil. without the marks decreasing at all.

Is there anything that will remove these stains?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your stained shower tile.

I propose using one more product on your stained tile surface. To remove the metal stain, I suggest using a clean rag and Bar Keepers Friend 737ml Liquid Soft Cleanser. It is effective at removing rust stains, metal tarnish, mineral deposits, soap scum, and everyday grime. Please use moderately as it does not need to soak the affected area.

Are you sure these are actually stains and not where the surface of the tile has been worn away? Pictures would help.

You could try something like this

Do you have any spare tiles that you could try other solutions on so as to ensure the actual tiles don't get damaged?
