Thank you for sharing your question about your bath spout. Your spout threads are too far in and none of the regular adapters will work on your spout. I can only suggest using the https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-push-on-shower_p0144264 . My best advice is to keep the pressure low to prevent the adapter from slipping off.
However, one other option is to change your spout with a https://www.bunnings.com.au/shaw-mason-chrome-bath-spout-with-diverter-and-shower-kit_p0612661 , but you will need a plumber to install one in your bath.
