Which LED bulb for my "recessed ceiling downlight"?

Hi - the LED bulb in one of my recessed ceiling downlights has died. I'm new to this style of ceiling light - it has a "twist-face plate" that must be turned to access the bulb. I understand that Bunnings stocks both the "GU10 (240V)" and "MR16 (12V)" varieties, which of these would be most suitable for my ceiling light (photo is below)?

Unfortunately, both 240V GU10 globes and 12V MR16 globes can be fitted behind this style of twist-lock outer ring, so it's usually not possible to tell which type you have just by looking at the front of the fitting.

The easiest way to identify it is to remove the globe and check the connection on the back:

* GU10 (240V) globes need to be pushed in slightly and twisted anti-clockwise to release them from the socket.
* MR16 (12V) globes simply pull straight out, as they use two thin pins that plug into the socket.

Once you've removed the globe, you'll be able to confirm which type you need and match it with a replacement from Bunnings.

If you're not confident removing the globe or working around electrical fittings, it's always best to reach out to a licensed electrician for assistance.
