how do you change bulbs for these light fittings?

The first step would be to remove the spherical cover to reveal the bulb inside of it.
I imagine that the cover could be attached to the gold connector via a thread, so I would start by trying to twist the cover anti-clockwise while holding the gold connector in place.
If there is a thread, this should allow you to take the cover off to reveal what kind of bulb it is. From there it is just a matter of matching the bulb with one of a similar size and wattage with the correct connector for the base.
If you take the cover off and need a hand identifying a suitable replacement for the bulb, please let me know.
If you can't take the cover off using this method, could you try to get some photos of the top of the connector so we might be able to identify how to disconnect the cover.
